ABOUT KEIRA - BIOGRPAHY
The daughter of actor Will Knightley and playwright Sharman Macdonald. After requesting an agent at the age of three, her parents allowed her to work on productions during her summer holidays. Her first role was at the age of 9, in Moira Armstrong's A Village Affair. However, Knightley's first high profile role came in 1999, as Sabe, Decoy Queen to Natalie Portman's Queen Amidala in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. Since then she has completed an impressive array of films including The Hole, but is probably best known for her role of tomboy footballer Jules Paxton in Gurinder Chadha's Bend It Like Beckham in 2002. However, her real stardom started right after acting in 2003's summer blockbuster hit, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, along side with A-list stars like Johnny Depp, Geoffrey Rush and Orlando Bloom. Recently, she finished The Jacket with Oscar-winner Adrien Brody, and will be releasing another summer movie, King Arthur in 2004. Moreover, two sequels for Pirates of the Caribbean are currently planned for her, but Keira has only agreed to do the first sequel.

At the age of 16, he joined the National Youth Theatre in London, spending two seasons there and gaining a scholarship to train with the British American Drama Academy. Like many young actors, he also auditioned for a number of television and film roles to further his career, landing bit parts in the TV series, "Casualty" and the critically acclaimed movie, Wilde, which led to many opportunities, but turned them all down to attend the Guildhall School of Music and Drama for 3 years. It was there, in 1998, where the accident prone Orlando fell three stories from a rooftop terrace and broke his back. Despite very real fears that he would be permanently paralyzed, he quickly recovered. Within a day of graduating from Guildhall, Orlando began work on the Lord of the Rings, spending 18 months in New Zealand bringing to life, Legolas, a arrow-shooting blond elf, a part which would make him a household name. Soon after, he had many other movie projects including, the 2003 summer hit, Pirates of the Caribbean, which he went along side with Keira Knightley, Johnny Depp and Geoffrey Rush. He also acted in Ned Kelly with Naomi Watts and Heath Ledger. Recently, he started on Elizabethtown with Kirsten Dunst, finishing Kingdom of Heaven, and released Troy with Brad Pitt during the summer of 2003. He has accepted the role in the first POTC sequel.

Het verhaal van Pirates of the Caribbean 2! Een Duitse journalist was Orlando op de set van Troy komen interviewen, en daar had Orlando het verklapt:
De voorbereidingen voor dé bruiloft van Will en Elizabeth zijn in volle gang, alles gaat goed tot de nacht voor de bruiloft. Dan wordt Elizabeth gekidnapt. Veel aanwijzingen leiden naar Jack Sparrow. Dus gaat Will ervan uit dat Jack er achter zit. Hij en Jack hebben elkaar sinds het eind van deel 1 niet meer gezien. Will weet alleen dat Jack sindsdien een soort Robin Hood is geworden: neemt van de rijken en geeft aan de armen. Met een nieuwe vriend gaat Will op zoek naar Jack en Elizabeth. Op een eiland worden ze vastgehouden en Will moet dan als een soort gladiator in een arena tegen een 1-ogig monster vechten. In de laatste seconde verslaat Will het monster. Nu wordt het mooi: =P. Jack wordt ook gevangen gehouden op hetzelfde eiland. En nou moet hij dus ook vechten in de arena tegen Will. Dan wordt het voor Will dus duidelijk dat Jack niks met de ontvoering van Elizabeth te maken heeft. Uiteindelijk zit er een vrouw achter dit alles: Bermuda Barbossa, de dochter van kapitein Barbossa. Wie waarschijnlijk gespeeld zal worden door Salma Hayek. Ze wil wraak nemen op Jack en Will voor de dood van haar vader. Uiteindelijk komt het uit op een groot gevecht op zee tussen 4 schepen waaronder the Black Pearl 2. Tijdens het gevecht is er een hevige storm bezig en zijn de golven 10 meter hoog.
Er is gepland dat ze beginnen met filmen in Januari 2005 en de premiere is gepland eind 2005. In Nederlands zal hij dus rond eind 2005, begin 2006 uitkomen.

Lizo: How long did it take to film that scene? Did you keep on having to do extra takes just to make sure you got it absolutely spot on?
Keira: Obviously we had to get the feel of the kiss completely right so we did it six or seven times, it took several hours, lovely!
